The 2026 Oxford Institute for Global Education and Clinical Practice in Psychology and Counseling

Welcome to the Oxford Institute!

On behalf of the International Association of Psychology and Counseling (IAPC) we invite you to join us for the 24th annual Oxford Institute — June 30 to July 6, 2026 at St. Hilda’s College, Oxford University (UK). The Oxford Institute is a small international gathering (limited to 40 participants) that promotes professional collaboration, expands intercultural understanding, and facilitates the exchange of knowledge to advance excellence in global education and clinical practice.

The Oxford Institute brings together educators, clinicians, and students who share an interest in training, education, supervision, and clinical practice. We welcome psychologists, psychotherapists, mental health counselors, pastoral counselors, family counselors, marriage and family therapists, social workers, psychiatrists, and others in “helping professions”.

The Oxford Institute features research and clinical presentations from scholars from around the world. Past Institute participants have included colleagues and students from throughout the USA, the United Kingdom, China, Turkey, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Nigeria, Germany, Cyprus, Bahamas, Canada, Mexico, and Ukraine. In addition to scholarly and scientific presentations and lectures, the Oxford Institute includes cultural immersion activities to expand understanding of historical and contemporary issues in British society.
