The 2027 Oxford Institute for Global Education and Clinical Practice in Psychology and Counseling

July 2 – 9, 2027

St. Hilda’s College, University of Oxford

A program of the International Association of Psychology and Counseling (IAPC)

Welcome to the Oxford Institute!

On behalf of the International Association of Psychology and Counseling (IAPC) we invite you to join us for the 2027 Oxford Institute — July 2 to 9, 2027 at St. Hilda’s College, University of Oxford (UK). The Oxford Institute is a small international gathering (limited to 60 participants) that promotes professional collaboration, expands intercultural understanding, and facilitates the exchange of knowledge to advance excellence in global education and clinical practice.

The Oxford Institute brings together educators, clinicians, and students who share an interest in training, education, supervision, and clinical practice. We welcome psychologists, psychotherapists, mental health counselors, pastoral counselors, family counselors, marriage and family therapists, social workers, psychiatrists, and others in “helping professions”.

The Oxford Institute features original research and practice-based clinical presentations by presenters from around the world. Recent participants have included educators, clinicians, and students from the USA, the United Kingdom, China, Turkey, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Nigeria, Germany, Cyprus, the Bahamas, Canada, Mexico, Paraguay, and Ukraine. Alongside scholarly presentations, the Oxford Institute offers a cultural immersion experience, with formal and informal activities to expand understanding of historical and contemporary issues in British society.

2027 marks the twelfth anniversary of the Oxford Institute at St. Hilda’s College. Attendance is limited to sixty participants, so early registration is encouraged. We hope your summer plans will allow you to join us in Oxford in July 2027!

Sincerely,
Brian S. Canfield, Ed.D., Director
