Dr. Mary Ballard

Dr. Mary Ballard

Dr. Mary B. Ballard is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Louisiana and serves as Professor and Director of the Center for Faculty Excellence at Southeastern Louisiana University. A past President of the International Association of Marriage and Family Counselors and recipient of the American Counseling Association President’s Award for Distinguished Leadership, Dr. Ballard has been an active leader in the counseling profession for over 30 years.

Dr. Brian S. Canfield

Dr. Brian S. Canfield

Dr. Brian Canfield is a founding board member of the International Association of Psychology and Counseling (IAPC). He is a licensed psychologist, licensed clinical mental health counselor (supervisor), and licensed marriage and family therapist (supervisor). With over four decades of experience as both a university professor and practicing clinician, Dr. Canfield brings deep academic and clinical expertise to his work. His clinical practice spans a wide range of mental health and life-adjustment concerns, with a particular specialization in couples and relationship work.

Paul Dunne

Paul Dunne

After a 20-year career in business, rising to Director of the UK arm of a US-based multinational corporation, Paul Dunne retrained as a counselor and worked in NHS Primary Care. In 2001, he qualified as a transpersonal psychotherapist at the Centre for Transpersonal Psychology, later serving as teacher, company secretary, and chief executive. Alongside his clinical practice, he is known for his work as an executive coach, integrating psychotherapeutic insight with senior-level business experience. Paul teaches meditation grounded in mindfulness and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and serves as the IAPC Board Member for the United Kingdom.

Dr. David Fenell

Dr. David Fenell

Dr. David Fenell is Professor of Counselor Education at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. A retired Army psychologist, he brings extensive international experience, including assignments in Turkey, Germany, Colombia, Afghanistan, and Iraq. He is the author of Counseling Families: An Introduction to Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy.

Dr. Ed Gunberg

Dr. Ed Gunberg

Dr. Ed Gunberg is a Professor in the School of Professional Counseling at Lindsey Wilson University, where he teaches in both the master’s program in Mental Health Counseling and the doctoral program in Counselor Education and Supervision. Prior to entering academia, he ran a private consulting firm in Northern Virginia for 30 years. His leadership roles include President of the Kentucky Mental Health Counseling Association and IAPC Kentucky State Chair.

Dr. Joseph J. Horak

Dr. Joseph J. Horak

Dr. Joseph J. Horak is a clinical psychologist, family business consultant, and leadership coach based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He serves as an Honorary Teaching Fellow and Entrepreneur in Residence at Lancaster University and is former Director of the Family Owned Business Institute at Grand Valley State University. Dr. Horak has over 30 years of experience across clinical, academic, and executive settings.

Dr. Fotini E. Kranou

Dr. Fotini E. Kranou

Dr. Fotini Economides Kranou has over 20 years of experience in counseling across government services, university counseling centers, and private practice. She currently teaches in the Department of Psychology at Frederick University Cyprus.

Dr. Don Locke

Dr. Don Locke

Dr. Don W. Locke is Dean and Professor Emeritus at Mississippi College and formerly served as a counselor educator at the University of Louisiana at Monroe and Mississippi State University. A Past President and Fellow of multiple national counseling organizations, including the American Counseling Association, he has over 55 years of experience in counseling and continues to serve as a professional consultant.

Dr. Jana Sutton

Dr. Jana Sutton

Dr. Sutton is Program Director of, and a Professor in, the Marriage and Family Therapy Program at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. With over 25 years of clinical experience, she is a Louisiana Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and a Louisiana Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy-Supervisor, as well as a AAMFT Approved Supervisor and Mentor. She is past president of the Louisiana Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Her areas of interest include systemic approaches to family therapy and to clinical supervision, with a specific focus on live supervision, in a collaborative, solution-focused, and resource focused manner; couple’s therapy; and relational approaches to therapy with those who self-harm and/or are harmed by others.

Bonaventure Tuyisenge

Bonaventure Tuyisenge

Bonaventure Tuyisenge is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist registered with the Rwanda Allied Health Professional Council. He has over 14 years of experience delivering counseling services, training, and lecturing at the Kigali Health Institute, the University of Rwanda, and with the United Nations Mission in South Sudan. He also serves part-time as a UN Staff Counselor in Rwanda and is a registered member of the Rwanda Psychological Society. Alongside his role on the IAPC Board, he serves as IAPC Rwanda Chair.
