Conference Attendees should arrange their travel plans to arrive at the Cruise terminal no later than 3:30 p.m. Check in and onsite registration opens at 12 noon and closes at 4:00 p.m. sharp!
Flying into Palm Beach
Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) is the recommended airport. PBI offers 200 daily flights on 13 airlines. PBI is located 11.1 miles south of the Port of Palm Beach. It is recommended to take an Uber or Taxi from the airport to the cruise terminal, which should take 20-30 minutes depending upon traffic. IAPC is negotiating reduced rates at several area hotels located near the Port of Palm Beach for out-of-region conference attendees who wish to arrive on Thursday. Hotel recommendations will be sent out to conference registrants no later than October 1, 2022.
Driving to the Port of Palm Beach
The Port of Palm Beach is located off I-95 at 1 East 11th Street, Riviera, Florida – approximately 11 miles north of the city of West Palm Beach and 45 miles north of Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL).
As of September 12, 2022 the Margaritaville Cruise Line requires proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 antigen test taken within 3-days of departure (if not vaccinated). However, it is anticipated that this policy may be dropped in the coming weeks/months.
Since the Paradise will sail in Bahamian waters and dock at Grand Bahama Island on Saturday, conference attendees are required to have a valid passport. However, USA born citizens may present a notarized copy of their birth certificate in lieu of a passport.
All meals are included in the conference registration fee and are available throughout the day. Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase, or participants may purchase a beverage package directly from the cruise line.
“Resort casual” attire is appropriate for all conference events.
